What this page is for
Scheduling turns a one-off feature into a recurring slot. You describe the content, the voice and the rhythm once; SpeakRadio generates the feature at the appointed time and can drop it straight onto your station's server or send it to your automation system through an API.
Creating a schedule
Click New schedule: a five-tab window opens. A Schedule active switch and the Save button stay visible at all times.
- Content — schedule name, generation language (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian), feature type (Weather, News bulletin, Sport, Horoscope, On this day, Cinema, Themed feature), focus or subject, station name, target length in seconds (60 by default, from 15 to 300) and the “announce the time” and “name the presenter” boxes.
- Audio — Voice (required), intonation, music bed. Advanced settings give the bed volume (5 to 50 %, 15 % by default), the voice volume (50 to 150 %) and the silences before and after the voice (0 to 5,000 ms).
- Scheduling — see below.
- External source — optional: plug in your own data feed.
- Delivery — optional: deliver the finished file automatically.
Scheduling
Two ways to set the rhythm:
- Fixed times: add as many times through the day as you like (7:00, 12:00, 18:00…).
- Every N minutes: from 5 minutes to 12 hours, with a “From” and “Until” window.
You then tick the active days (Monday to Sunday) and, if needed, a start date and an end date. Times are calculated on the Europe/Paris time zone.
Warning :
Watch the volume: a feature every 15 minutes for 12 hours means 48 features a day, and therefore credits spent 48 times.
External source
If you already have your own data (a news feed, readings from a local weather station, a results table), you can ask the AI to work from that source rather than from the web.
- Source URL: TXT, JSON, XML, RSS/Atom or HTML, publicly reachable over http(s)
- Format: automatic detection, or a forced format
- Authentication header, optional, for protected sources
- Test the feed shows exactly what the AI will receive
Three safeguards are available: use this source exclusively (switches off the web search), generate nothing if the source is empty (no credits are then charged) and do not regenerate if the content is unchanged.
Good to know :
A trigger address (webhook) is also provided: your system can call that URL to launch a feature immediately, with a configurable minimum delay between two triggers.
Automatic delivery
- FTP / SFTP: pick a server you have already saved and a destination subfolder. This block only appears if SFTP synchronisation has been enabled on your account.
- External API: give an https URL and an API key (sent in the X-API-Key header), plus the name the feature should appear under on the automation side. Three buttons let you test the key, list the features already sent and test a real delivery.
Following your schedules
Each schedule appears as a card: next run, last run, status badges (Paused, Scheduled, Running, External source) and a mini player for the most recent feature produced, with Download and Open the feature.
- Force a run within the next minute to test without waiting for the scheduled time
- Pause / Resume to suspend without losing the setup
- Edit and Delete
Tip :
An alert banner appears when you have 20 % and then 5 % of your credits left: keep an eye on it if you run several daily schedules.
