SpeakRadio welcomes a newcomer: Speaky, your audio creation assistant. No need to know where to start: tell it what you want to produce and it guides you all the way to an edit that is ready to broadcast.
Who is Speaky?
Speaky is a little radio host with headphones on, sitting at the bottom right of your dashboard. One click on its bubble opens a conversation. You write the way you would talk to a colleague: "a jingle for my station", "a 20-second ad for the local bakery", "a two-voice feature about this weekend's events".
How it works
- You describe what you need. Speaky asks one or two questions, not a full questionnaire: the name of your station or advertiser, the message, the tone, the length.
- You choose the voices. A panel opens with the voices Speaky suggests and the whole catalogue. Listen to a sample and click the one you like. You can also ask it to choose for you.
- Speaky proposes the script. Line by line, with the voice, any effect, the background music and the estimated length. You approve it or ask for a change: shorter, funnier, another music bed, an echo on the slogan.
- You start the production. A summary shows the cost in credits first. Nothing is spent until you click "Start production".
- You open the edit. Voices, background music and effects are already placed on the editor's tracks. Listen, adjust if needed, then generate your MP3 file.
What Speaky can produce
- Jingles: station idents, with one or several voices, with or without effects.
- Ads: with one voice, or acted out by two or three voices playing off each other.
- Features and podcasts: real content, with one voice or as a conversation between hosts.
- Voice tracks and announcements: weather, events, programme announcements.
What it does not do for you
Speaky has no access to today's news: for a news flash or a topical feature, it asks you for the facts to announce and makes nothing up. And you are always the one who approves the script and starts the production.
Speaky speaks several languages
Write to it in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German or Portuguese: it answers in your language and suggests the voices available in the language of your production. Here is its introduction in the other languages:
