What this page is for
A radio commercial is a short audio message (15 to 60 seconds) promoting a product, a service, an event or a business. From Creation › Commercials you will find the list of your spots and the New commercial button.
- Length: 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 seconds — 30 seconds is the radio standard
- Structure: hook, message, call to action
- Tone: matched to the advertiser and their audience
Step by step
- Click New commercial.
- Enter the Spot title (for example “Summer promo - Le Soleil Restaurant”).
- Click Choose a voice: the side panel shows the catalogue with previews.
- Pick an Intonation if you want a particular colour (“Standard” by default).
- Select a Music bed — optional, but strongly recommended on a commercial.
- Write the Spot script, or click Generate with AI to start from a draft.
- Check the Credit estimate shown under the script, then click Generate the spot.
- Listen to the preview, then Edit to fine-tune or Download ZIP to get the file.
The script generator
The Generate with AI window asks you four things:
- Commercial template: a ready-made structure, or “free” to let the AI compose
- Spot description: the essentials of the offer (“Italian restaurant, 15 € set menu, family atmosphere, open 7 days a week”)
- Tone: Energetic, Professional, Warm or Urgent
- Length: 20, 30 or 45 seconds
Tip :
Generating or improving a script costs nothing. Only audio generation uses credits, so feel free to rerun the draft several times before producing the sound.
Advanced settings
The Advanced settings (volume, intro / outro) accordion gives you control over the mix:
| Setting | Range | Default value |
| Voice volume | 50 to 200 % | 100 % |
| Intro — silence before the voice | 0 to 5,000 ms | 1,000 ms |
| Outro — silence after the voice | 0 to 5,000 ms | 1,000 ms |
| Music bed volume | 5 to 50 % | 15 % |
Good to know :
The music bed volume only appears if you have selected a bed. A value between 12 and 18 % keeps the voice perfectly intelligible.
Writing a good commercial
- Hook: grab attention in the very first second
- Benefit: say what the customer gains, not what the advertiser sells
- Proof: a price, a date, a concrete figure
- Call to action: one single action, clearly stated
- Contact details: address or website, repeated if that is the main message
Good to know :
Count roughly 2.5 words per second: 35 words for 15 seconds, 75 words for 30 seconds, 150 words for 60 seconds.
Credit cost
The cost is based on the actual length of the audio produced, at 1 credit per 3 seconds (minimum 1 credit):
| Spot length | Approximate cost |
| 15 seconds | 5 credits |
| 30 seconds | 10 credits |
| 45 seconds | 15 credits |
| 60 seconds | 20 credits |
Warning :
The Regenerate button only appears if you have changed the script, the voice, the intonation or the music bed — and regenerating uses new credits.
Requirements and limits
- An active subscription is required to access commercial creation.
- Without a subscription, downloads are capped at 3 free audio files.
- The preview player offers two versions: with the music bed and voice only.
- From an existing spot, the Duplicate action pre-fills a new form with the same content.
